Accessibility statement
Last updated: October 2026
Down to Earth Israel Tours believes everyone should be able to discover Israel — and our website. We have made an effort to make this site accessible to people with disabilities, in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations (2013) and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
What we've done
- The site works with a keyboard alone, with visible focus and a “skip to main content” link.
- Images have text alternatives; buttons and form fields have clear labels and error messages.
- Text colours meet contrast requirements, and the site is readable when zoomed to 200%.
- Moving content (slideshows and carousels) can be paused, and animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- An accessibility menu (the round button at the bottom of the screen) lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, underline links, stop animations and switch to a plain font.
- The site is available in English and Hebrew, with full right-to-left support.
Known limitations
Some content comes from third parties — WhatsApp and the secure payment page — and its accessibility is outside our control. Photos added over time may not always have a perfect description. We keep improving; if something isn't working for you, please tell us.
